Short CV:
Dr. Adonis Bogris (male) received the Ph.D. degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2005. Since 2010, he is with the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering of the University of West Attica, Greece where he currently serves as a Professor. His current research interests include photonic technologies and their use in optical communication systems, optical sensors and neuromorphic computing paradigms. He has authored or co-authored more than 160 articles published in international scientific journals and conference proceedings. His published work has been cited more than 3000 times by other researchers. Dr. Bogris has been involved in numerous EU and national projects in the field of high speed communication systems and optical technologies such as E-photon, BONE, PHASORS, CLARITY, NEoteRIC. He also serves as a reviewer for the journals of the IEEE, Elsevier, Nature and the Optical Society of America and he is an associate editor in Optica Continuum. He has participated in the Technical Programme Committee of famous conferences such as ECOC, CLEO, etc.
